DIOD: Diodes, Inc. Ranks No. 82 in the 2006 Fortune's '100 Fastest-Growing Companies'

Diodes Incorporated (Nasdaq: DIOD), a leading manufacturer and supplier of high quality discrete and analog semiconductors, today announced that it has been named among the annual "Fortune 100 Fastest-Growing Companies" in the September 18, 2006 issue of Fortune Magazine. The Company scored 82nd in this ranking of top performing companies in terms of three-year sales, profit, and stock growth.

Fortune uses data from Zacks Investment Research to compile this ranking, which consists of the companies with the best three-year sales, profit and stock growth. To qualify for this year's listing, a company must be incorporated in the U.S.; have a minimum market capitalization of $250 million; have a stock price of at least $5.00; have been trading continuously since June 30, 2003; have revenue and net income for the four quarters ended on or before March 31, 2006, of at least $50 million and $10 million, respectively; and have posted a compound annual growth in revenue and earnings per share of at least 25% annually over the three years ended on or before March 31, 2006.

On Thursday, Diodes updated their third quarter revenue guidance from their prior estimate of a 4-7% sequential growth, and now expects a 9-11% sequential increase over their record second quarter revenue of $82.7 million.

The Company has also received recognition in other leading publications in 2006, including a 52nd ranking in Business Week's "2006 List of 100 Hot Growth Companies" and a 26th ranking in Business 2.0 Magazine's "100 Fastest Growing Tech Companies."
