DELL: Kentucky Selects Dell for Services, Desktop and Notebook Contract Worth up to $100 Million

The Commonwealth of Kentucky has selected Dell as its provider of technology services, desktops and notebooks in a deal anticipated to be worth up to $100 million over 10 years.

The initial two-year contract is anticipated to be worth up to $10 million annually, with options to extend for four additional two-year periods.

Dell will provide Dell OptiplexTM desktops and Latitude notebooks. All systems will come preloaded with common software to create an efficient, standards-based computing model statewide. Dell will also provide all state agencies with asset tagging, data migration and imaging technologies.

Additionally, Dell will provide services ranging from an employee-purchase program to installation and asset recovery. To help ensure customer satisfaction, an onsite Dell professional will serve as a single point of contact.
