AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) announced that AT&T will deliver an integrated secure voice and data networking infrastructure to TALX Corporation (NASD: TALX), a St. Louis-based provider of human resources and payroll-related services. The three-year networking contract renews and expands a long-standing relationship between the AT&T and TALX.
Anchored by AT&T Managed Internet Service, the company's virtual private network (VPN) provides increased network reliability, security and scalability while improving network efficiency. It facilitates the automation of TALX business processes and makes it easy to collaborate with clients and suppliers.
Combined with AT&T's Toll-Free Advanced Features that track incoming calls and seamlessly reroute call traffic to ensure that calls are answered in a timely manner, AT&T's network solution delivers a consistent, reliable experience for all users.
TALX is a leading provider of outsourced employment and income verifications, and outsourced unemployment cost control. TALX makes it possible for employers to save by replacing manual, paper-based methods with automated, electronic services in the HR/payroll areas of hiring, pay-reporting and compliance.
"Our clients expect around-the-clock access to services that help lower operational costs and achieve key business objectives," said Bryan Garcia, vice president, technology at TALX. "With AT&T's help, TALX is able to deliver an end-to-end solution that addresses the client's entire problem rather than just a Web-based or just a call center solution."
For example, TALX paperless pay solutions provide individuals with universal and secure access to pay-stub data via intranets, portals, phones and the Web. This enables TALX to offer clients a complete solution across multiple access points, which is a competitive advantage.
The bundled agreement also includes Web hosting, Internet and data services, as well as local and long distance voice services.
