Christian Onselaere (44) has taken over the management of N.V. ADB S.A. in Zaventem, Belgium. Jacques van Haaster (46) is now responsible for Business Administration at this Siemens Company.
Born in Gent in Belgium, Christian Onselaere is a software and electronics engineer and joined Siemens in 1985. He then worked for the company in Germany, France and Asia, including several years as vice president of Siemens in Thailand. As head of the Siemens subdivision ITS A (Airfield) – including ADB and Siemens Airfield Solutions (SAS) of Columbus/Ohio, USA – he already held business management responsibility for ADB and SAS since August 2005. Onselaere succeeds Guy Fickers, who – after seven years as Head of Siemens ADB – is assuming a leading position with the Belgian trailer specialist Faymonville.
After studying business management, Jacques van Haaster from the Netherlands occupied various commercial posts over a period of 25 years at Siemens in that country. Before assuming his new position, he was the Head of Business Administration of Siemens COM and Siemens Business Services (SBS). As of October 1, 2006, van Haaster is also responsible for Business Administration of the Siemens subdivision ITS A. His predecessor, Jörg Steinhäuser, is taking charge of Finance, Controlling & Reporting at the Dutch regional Siemens office in The Hague.
